BIO

Anna Litvak-Hinenzon grew up in Israel. She currently lives with her family in Greater Boston. Passionate about art and science, Anna studied both throughout the years, and she holds a double major BA in Fine Arts and Math from the University of Haifa, Israel. During her studies, Anna specialized in painting and photography under Israeli and international artists' guidance.

Anna returned to art-making in 2017 after a break of a few years. She started her art journey as a painter, but in recent years her primary focus has been the art of digital photography, as this medium combines her two main passions: art and technology.

Anna presented her work in multiple group exhibitions (see list below).

In addition to her artwork, Anna holds an MSc in Computer Vision and a Ph.D. in Applied Math and leads AI & Technology. Anna lived in several countries and traveled through Europe to enrich her multicultural understanding. She is trilingual in Hebrew, Russian, and English. In addition, Anna is an author and speaker, appreciates multicultural environments, promotes DEI, and values learning and inclusion.

Recently, one of Anna Litvak-Hinenzon's beloved teachers, Avner Katz, had sadly passed away. See some of his work HERE - with loving memory.

Inspirations

Through my history of art studies, I was inspired by the surrealists painters. My favorite was René Magritte. Among many other artists that inspire me, I was especially impressed by the photography work of Cindy Sherman, Robert Mapplethorpe & Annie Leibovitz.
